The Girls!

We keep a selection of ewes, aged from lamb to our oldest at 12 years old! Most of them descend from our original acquisitions from the Stoneheap Flock.

We put all of our ewes to the ram in November, for lambing the following April - ewe lambs are retained and only put to the ram as gimmers (when they are over a year old).

Now and again we will have females for sale, either privately (see For Sale page), or at Shetland Sheep Society official sales throughout the UK.
